“Schooled in traditional photography my photo-mixed media art has become anything but traditional.   I enjoy taking a simple object and visually transforming it into something exceptional.  My subject is the natural world. I find nature to be a fascinating subject that offers endless complexities. Form, function, design and image must work together seamlessly.  I break the photograph down to the basic elements of light, form, texture and tone then I will include collage, paint and other mixed media elements to expand the photographic image.”
