There was no intended theme for this art competition; the only requirement is that the artwork had to be 12”x12” or smaller, including the frame. artists from 32 states submitted 440 artworks for consideration | Aggressively Fragile-Melissa HallA conceptual photographer, Melissa used her artwork to explore the emotional highs and lows when facing mortality. “Examining my thoughts as artistic concepts has made them more objective and helped to remove the fear from them.”

"Subjective Neutrality"October 18th-November 19th 2016
Marco Logsdon brings his non-objective, abstract style of painting or “Neutrality” to a personal exploration or “Subjective” study of his grandmother’s quilts. Using only oil, tar and beeswax, each painting in this exhibit is an isolated block pattern that is found repeated in a quilt. Historically encaustic painting involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. Mixed media artists Debbie Jackson Billips, Melissa T.
